About Me
Why I love doing what I do
A little about me
My name is Leah and I have loved working with people all my life. I offer varied approaches and treatments to help people, teams and groups across Carlisle and Cumbria.
My Background
For as long as I can remember, I have felt fulfillment in helping others. From childhood, I was a very empathetic child and knew I wanted to do something that would add value to others lives and help lift people up. This led me to work in autism, special needs, and mental health for over 20 years. I wanted to continue my growth as a person and diversify, while still working towards the same aim in helping people. This led to me becoming a holistic therapist with a special interest in sound healing, reiki sessions and meditations.

Always a Passion
Since the age of 18 I have read books, followed speakers and visited personal development and spirituality experts across the world. I love soaking up the knowledge and putting it to use. Along this journey I found mediation, and for many years now, I engage with this practice every morning to align myself for the day. It was in this space and these experiences that led me to energy work, meditation and sound therapy (which is treatment very close to my heart). I find a combination of holistic healing modalities can help engage my clients on a cellular level. This can serve to amplify their experience and lead to better results.
Continued Development
Over the years I have attained qualifications in care, massage, reflexology, counselling, sound therapy, and reiki. This allows me to engage with my clients in my own unique way. My deep love for people, and a love for what I do really can help anchor trust in a client relationship. I believe this to be important when it comes to healing for any modality whether it be allopathic or holistic.
In alignment with this work, me and three others have set up “Soul Dance Tribe”….an alcohol-free night time experience. People can come together to dance to great music with our resident DJ and drink healthy alternatives to the usual alcohol. It is a place to meet new people, and speak/listen to the journeys and interests of others. We also always enjoy a group meditation and sound bath ritual as the perfect ‘close’ to the event.
I am so lucky and privileged to do what I do, to meet new people along the way, learning about their journeys and helping people overcome adversity and hurdles. If you think you would like to work with me, please send a message or call for a ‘non-comittel’ chat. I would love to hear from you…
Wishing wellness for you all, and thanks for taking the time to learn little about me and my journey up to now…
